tempers....


as i'm sure you can tell from this picture, nathan was ALL KINDS of honked off! on the way back to the truck he got into those nasty nettles!

Happy Mother's Day....


fishing.......the kids have been wanting to go fishin' since easter.....(easter bunny thought fishin' poles were a great idea :) ) anyway, i decided on mother's day, i just wanted to get up, get my run in, take the kids fishin', and just hangout w/out HAVING to be anywhere at any specific time! so a fishin' we went! one of my mother's day wishes was for DREW to actually be IN these pictures! as you can see, he still wasn't all that cooperative....but at least now my kids have SOME proof that daddy participated in our outings!!! oh...and in case you are wondering...NO we didn't catch any fish. just had 1 toy w/ us! and all the kids caught were those painful and burning little weeds called "bull nettles"? or i think that's what they are called? you'll see 1 or more pics where sophia is scratching and not happy! she got in them the most. these first couple pics of her, she was having fun.....and then she was OVER IT!

All I want for Christmas....


i'm a little late posting this....but olivia finally lost that other tooth! no more snaggle tooth! ha! this is a smile only a mother could find beautiful!!!!

About Me

well....where do i begin?? i have never done a "blog" before, and don't know if this is even for me. but a few friends, and one very persistant sister-in-law(esther)really encouraged me to start some sort of "blog" or any place online, to share photos i have taken. so i thought, what the heck!? most everyone knows that photography has been a hobby of mine for a few years now. so with lots of practice, lots of failing, lots of reading and googling, i feel like little by little i'm getting a little better all the time. and part of the reason for getting better, is because of the famous gina..... whom EVERYONE loves and knows, she has been letting me pick her brain for tips and tricks. also, kris, who i met online after joining a photography forum, who happens to be an awesome wedding phogtographer, she has been a TON of help as well! since i have 3 children, my goal is to be able to truly capture, like a professional can capture, the pure innocence and fun of my children. (and i get it for free!) and, since i have lots of wonderful friends & family, i get to practice on them, too!
